Love diving? Go pro and make diving your career.
The PADI Divemaster course is your first level of professional training. Working closely with our team of instructors, you will fine-tune your dive skills, like perfecting the effortless hover, and refine your rescue skills so you anticipate and easily solve common problems. You’ll gain dive knowledge, management and supervision abilities so you become a role model to divers everywhere.

You will also have the chance to participate in several scenarios, including deep diving and search and recovery.
In addition, our value-packed PADI Divemaster internship includes: Unlimited diving, equipment rental, Enriched Air Diver specialty course, Deep Diver specialty course and our exclusive AWARE Sea Turtle Distinctive Specialty. Take the life-changing step of becoming a PADI Open Water Dive Instructor! If giving up your desk job for a vista of tropical seas, coral and fish seems like a great idea then we at Sierra Madre Divers can help you realise that dream with our Instructor Development Course (IDC).
We are the only PADI Five Star Instructor Development facility on Alona Beach, in Bohol, Philippines, and are proud to offer an Instructor Development Course (IDC) with 2 Platinum Course Directors, 3 Master Instructors, and a large support base of IDC Staff Instructors who speak your language. The Platinum rating is the highest level of recognition for Course Directors in PADI, and is awarded to only about 50 Course Directors worldwide.
Arrive two weeks before the Instructor Development Course and get in some fun dives or valuable assisting experience free of charge. Before the course proper, we throw in three days of preparation, where we revise the content of the PADI Divemaster course. We will also conduct the Emergency Oxygen Provider Instructor course at no cost to ensure that you have the knowledge and skills to teach safely and manage emergencies.
We have our exclusive IDC centre with two air-conditioned classrooms, so you can concentrate on what is most important. The IDC centre is solely for the use of professional-level candidates and is right next to our private swimming pool, so you can always grab a tank and jump in the pool for some practice if you feel the need.
PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC): Php88,000
Includes all PADI materials, diving costs, and lunch on most days.
Excludes PADI fees for 2017: Instructor Examination enrolment fee Aud865, PADI Instructor application fee Aud249, EFR Instructor application fee Aud172, and specialty instructor application fees Aud99 each.

PADI MSDTs are much more likely to be employed than freshly graduated instructors, and at Sierra Madre Divers our MSDT programme will open up many more doors in the diving industry for you.
If your goal is to work towards marketing and teaching your own Instructor Development Courses, then the PADI IDC Staff Instructor course is a very important step. Learn about the organisation and teaching structure involved in running an IDC. Not only will you gain experience in teaching different segments of the course but you will also learn how to grade the academic, confined and open water presentations of the candidates during their preparation for the Instructor Examination. Under the highly experienced and watchful eye of our Course Directors, you will gain a whole new depth of insight into the PADI educational system.
