The BARK Shelter
Supporting animal welfare and rescues in Bohol
Bohol Animal Rescue & Kindness (BARK) is a tireless non-profit organization in Bohol working for animal welfare. They have approximately 80 dogs in their Tagbilaran shelter and care for over 300 animals a day around Bohol. At Blue Revival, we love the furry residents of the land and support the BARK Bohol shelter with donations. We also organize low-cost spay and neuter events in our community.
Dogs of Alona was a project by BARK Bohol. It was an unprecedented Trap / Neuter / Vaccinate / Release / Manage (TNVRM) project in Panglao, Bohol, Philippines. From 2016 to 2019 we enlisted the efforts of community members to successfully manage the health and population of community dogs on Alona Beach. Dogs of Alona project was terminated in 2019 following the pandemic.
When booking your diving with us, simply mention that you are booking because of BARK, and we will make sure a percentage of your diving fee will be donated to BARK to continue their important animal rescue and welfare work.
“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born.”
